THE ROCK N JOCK GOLF TOURNAMENT IS SOLD OUT! On August 10 & 11, 2025 Rock N Jock Charities will celebrate 25 years of helping children and there families with life threatening illnesses in Rhode Island. We ask everyone to join us once again at our annual Night of Entertainment, Sunday, August, 10 and for our annual Golf Tournament, Monday, August 11. It is Rock N Jock Charities 25th Anniversary. We realize that money has been tight the last couple of years and some do not have the resources to buy a golf foursome, buy a tee sign or even buy tickets to our Night of Entertainment. Another blistering weekend goes by! We didn't have a show last Friday but Saturday and Sunday were sorchers! Saturday, was first ever appearance at the South Kingstown Elks, Wakefield, RI for their annual pig roast. Yes another pig roast for the Nakeds. The weather was perfect, the pig was delicious, Gansetts were ice cold and the dancing was none stop. Special thanks go out Denise , Kerri and Dave for rolling out the red carpet on Saturday. Sunday was our return to the Rathskeller, Charlestown, RI. This Sunday was a very special at the Rathskeller. We were joined by our very special guest and very special friend Billy Gilman. Billy is celebrating 25 years of entertaining the world. Even though the temperature was unbearable, we sweated through a gorgeous Sunday afternoon at the Rathskeller. It was another lawn packed Sunday afternoon in Charlestown! The Nakeds, Billy, ice cold Gansetts and the Rathskeller's world famous french fries! Just another fantastic summer weekend!
It doesn't stop this weekend as the Summer of 2025 rolls on. The week starts on Thursday night as we travel to North Attleborough, MA, for the The North Attleborough Summer Concert Series. Celebrating a decade of bringing the community together with music! You can find us at the Town Hall Gazebo for a free concert starting at 6:30p. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a summer evening of music. Again there will be no show for the Nakeds on Friday. On Saturday will be performing for another outdoor event for the Johnson's Pond Civic Association, Coventry, RI. This is another Summer Concert Series celebration. But it’s on the pond. Boats optional. Then comes Sunday afternoon at the greatest beach bar in the universe, The Ocean Mist, Matunuck, RI! Just a heads up, because of the National act that will be following us in on Sunday night, our show will start at 2:30p and will end at 5:30p. So get there early on Sunday! It's always jam packed Sunday afternoon at the Ocean Mist. Get ready for another great summer weekend!

2025 Twenty Five Years as The Official Band of Narragansett Beer!
"IT WAS TWENTY YEARS AGO TODAY" Narragansett Brewing asked the band to play. We are very proud that Steve Smith and the Nakeds has been and still are the official band of Narragansett Beer. We can't thank Gansett enough for letting us be a part of their growing process since 2005 when they made the move to bring Narragansett Beer home to it's roots. You can now visit the facility at 271 Tockwotton Street, Providence, RI. The Nakeds and I look forward to promoting our favorite brew for another 20 years!

The other night I was scanning the hundreds of movies available to me from my cable service. After a lengthy search I decided to revisit the Greatest Beer Run Ever. For those of you who haven't seen this movie yet, it's time to check it out.
Again my great friend Peter Farrelly chose another one of our songs to be placed in the Apple TV release, "The Greatest Beer Run Ever". We are honored, blessed and humbled that Peter would once again choose a Nakeds' song for this movie. "That's Alright" from our first Album, "Coming To Theatre Near You", is featured in "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" The film released on September 30, 2022 on Apple TV. The Movie features, Zac Efron, Russell Crowe and Bill Murray. Beer Run is directed by academy award winner and my friend Peter Farrely. We can't thank Peter enough for giving us this great honor and adding to the bands legacy! Check out the movie on Apple TV. It's just as fantastic as the first time I watched it!

After a year of brewing our Golden Anniversary Ale., Gansett let us know they will not be brewing any more of our beer. We can't thank Narragansett Beer enough for helping us celebrate our 50th Anniversary by giving us our own beer. Just a reminder. 2025 is the 20th Anniversary of Narragansett Beer's return to Rhode Island. It is also our 20th Anniversary of being the official band of Narragansett Beer! You never know? Maybe a beer commemorating our 20th year a representing Gansett.
