Message from Steve Smith
Bringing you up to speed. After some long and agonizing debate as a unit and in the best interest of the Steve Smith and the Nakeds and everyone's health, we have decided to the cancel rehearsals and recording. With a spike in Covid and the new strain, a few of the guys were not comfortable being in close quarters. As a group, we have decided to see how January plays out. We are all very close to getting the vaccine. It would be crazy if any of us tested positive now with the vaccine being so close. We can't see us performing until at least April and even that may be wishful thinking. So as for now, we will lay low and reassess it all in a few weeks.
Please be safe. We hope to see everyone soon and we hope that 2021 will be a much better year.
We had no shows last Friday and Saturday night.
This weekend and from this point forward we have no scheduled shows in the near future. Now that the vaccine is here we hope things may start to turn around. Please pray that the vaccine works so we can start entertaining you again. So enjoy an ice cold Gansett as we wait for this insanity to end. The Nakeds and I miss you all very much! We will keep you informed as to any changes in our schedule. We will be continuing our rehearsal schedule. We have also set up to do some recording in the next few months and will keep informed on our success. Hopefully we can together some Facebook live shows in the very near future. Stay tune for more information to come.
Once again it is time to unite as one to overcome this very devastating crisis. We are praying for an end to this incredible event. We would like everyone to use their common sense during this crisis. Please adhere to the current trend of self quarantine so we can put an end to this virus and return to our normal way of life. There's going to be one hell of celebration when this crisis is over! Please pray for those who have contracted this virus. Protect yourself and others by following the rules of common sense to stop it's spread. Also pray for the restaurant and bar owner's that keep us working. Please patronize those venues that still offer take out service. Working together we can beat this thing and get back to normal living. Looking forward to performing for everyone soon. It really works! Last month Frank Rapone our brother and former keyboard player was diagnosed with Covid 19. We asked that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Frank's condition was very serious. When talking with Frank his told taht after five weeks he is finally feeling better. Matt Dilorio and Steve Burke, are also both showing miraculous signs of improvement! SO KEEP'EM COMING!
