Originally recorded in 1984 and released on a 33-1/3 rpm vinyl pressing, this recording was digitally remastered in 2002.
The original master tape, approaching the end of it's shelf life, went through a process of restoration to ensure that the metal oxide coating would remain intact long enough to make the transfer into the digital domain. The results were quite astonishing!
