Steve Smith
& The Nakeds
"Never Say Never"
Steve Smith, lead vocalist for the band,
spearheaded the year-long recording project as the executive producer,
along with co-producer and recording engineer, Phil Greene.
Clarence Clemons' unmistakably evocative tenor sax is
featured on several tracks including "Don't Walk Away",
his original contribution to this collection.
Other featured selections include three new original songs
written and used by permission of E Street Band guitarist Nils
Lofgren.
Twelve more superbly written and performed original tunes
included on this disc represent some hard drivin' rhythm & blues for
the soul.

"Coming to a Theatre
Near You"
Previously released in 1985, this recording sounded so
good on vinyl that the general consensus among the band was that it should
be made available on CD. Not surprisingly, we have had
quite a few requests from our faithful Nakeds fans to make it available to
them.
There was a great deal of concern about whether or not the master tapes
were salvageable after sitting in storage for more than fifteen years. But like any piece of artwork that
has survived the ravages of time, restorative measures were taken to
preserve the quality and integrity of the medium.
We hope that you will continue to enjoy this music for
generations to come ! !
